“In a time of drastic change it is the learners who inherit the future. The learned usually find themselves equipped to live in a world that no longer exists.”

Professional learning

Personal change

As with all meaningful learning and change, transforming instructional practice is hard, and only really achievable if and when educators believe passionately in its benefits. The choice to take up this challenge must be voluntary (not as a result of coercion or compliance).

We believe that real change must be based upon a deep conviction that it is needed and a personal commitment to persist until classrooms and schools begin to operate differently. Building the capacity to implement change in the context of one’s own classroom and school is only sustainable if positive outcomes are confirmed by evidence and shared with others.

This is our commitment — helping educators reflect upon and move forward along their chosen professional learning path.
